Digital Library of Intellectual and Scientific Production of Unicamp

The Digital Library of Intellectual and Scientific Production of Unicamp has the goal of gathering and disseminating the intellectual, academic and cultural production of the university and preserving its institutional memory, besides contributing to increase the visibility of the institution and of its researchers nationally and internationally.

The development of this Digital Library is being carried out by the Library Systems of Unicamp, USP and UNESP as partners, with the support of the Vice-Presidency of Research of the three institutions and of FAPESP.

The management software used for structuring the Digital Library is The DSpace Institutional Digital Repository System (a collaborative project of MIT Libraries and Hewlett-Packard Company) was developed to allow the creation of digital repositories with capture, distribution and preservation functions. It is an open source code software which provides tools for the management of the digital collection, used for the implementation of institutional repositories.
